Basketball Recap: Summit Sierra Comes Up Short

Summit Sierra was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their 14th straight loss dating back to last season. They were beaten by the Granite Falls Tigers 70-38. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Spartans this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 64-36 last Tuesday.

Summit Sierra's defeat dropped their record down to 0-7. As for Granite Falls, the win got them back to even at 7-7.

Summit Sierra will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Summit Atlas at 5:15 p.m. on January 30th. Granite Falls has already played their next matchup (against South Whidbey), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
