Baseball Recap: Garber Has No Trouble Against Mulhall-Orlando

For some reason, the away team has come away with the win the last four times Garber and Mulhall-Orlando have met, but the home crowd finally got their W on Saturday. Garber put the hurt on Mulhall-Orlando with a sharp 10-4 victory. With that win, the Wolverines brought their scoring average up to 6.8 runs per game.

Caden Ramsey was incredible, going 2-for-3 with one triple, two RBI, and one run. That triple marked the first that he hit this season. Another player making a difference was Kennon Sharp, who went 2-for-3 with one triple, two RBI, and one run.

Garber was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .417. That's the best batting average they've posted all season.

Garber now has a winning record of 3-2. As for Mulhall-Orlando, their defeat was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 3-3.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Garber will square off against Waukomis at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. Waukomis' pitching crew has only allowed 2.5 runs per game this season, so Garber's hitters will have their work cut out for them. As for Mulhall-Orlando, they will challenge Ripley at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. Ripley will roll in looking for their eighth straight victory, something Mulhall-Orlando surely won't give up without a fight.
