Cole Mueller was huge no matter where he played even without the win. He looked comfortable on the mound, striking out seven batters over five innings while giving up just one earned (and one unearned) run off three hits. He has been nothing but reliable: he hasn't given up more than one earned run in three consecutive appearances. He was also solid in the batter's box, getting on base in two of his four plate appearances with two runs and one stolen base.
In other batting news, Sammy Roush made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and went 2-for-4 with three RBI, one stolen base, and one run. Caleb Mobley also deserves some recognition as he hit his first double of the season.
Miami Valley Christian Academy hit Clermont Northeastern with a seven-run fifth inning on Saturday, which goes a long way in explaining the final result. The Rockets lost 13-3 to the Lions.

Blanchester took their win against Clermont Northeastern in their previous matchup last Saturday by a conclusive 10-0 score.
