Basketball Game Preview: Unionville-Sebewaing Patriots vs. Bad Axe Hatchets

Unionville-Sebewaing is 2-8 against Bad Axe since February of 2020 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Tuesday. The Unionville-Sebewaing Patriots will head out on the road to challenge the Bad Axe Hatchets at 7:30 p.m.

Last Thursday, Unionville-Sebewaing was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap as they fell 39-35 to Laker.

Meanwhile, Bad Axe strolled past Vassar with points to spare on Friday, taking the game 44-29.

Bad Axe is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four contests, which provided a nice bump to their 9-7-1 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 26.5 points over those games. As for Unionville-Sebewaing, their defeat dropped their record down to 10-8.

Unionville-Sebewaing beat Bad Axe 41-29 in their previous matchup back in January. The rematch might be a little tougher for Unionville-Sebewaing since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
