Volleyball Recap: Christian Learning Center Comes Up Short

Christian Learning Center lost against Center Place back in October of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Mustangs took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Golden Eagles. The Mustangs have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

While Christian Learning Center ultimately came up short, they didn't go down without a fight: they scored at least 17 points in every set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-21, 25-17.

Christian Learning Center now has a losing record of 1-2. As for Center Place, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 8-0-1.

Center Place wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 2-1 defeat against Metro Academy on the 30th. Hopefully Christian Learning Center paid attention to the Golden Eagles' match: the next time they hit the field, they'll take on the Golden Eagles at 6:00 p.m. on September 12.
