Flag Football Game Preview: Mesa Jackrabbits vs. Millennium Tigers

The Mesa Jackrabbits will venture away from home to face off against the Millennium Tigers at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Neither of those teams managed to put together many points in their previous contests, so the offenses might be a little more motivated than usual.

Mesa managed to slip by Basha the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Jackrabbits lost 25-0 to the Bears on Thursday.

Meanwhile, Millennium was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat dating back to last season. They were five points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 5-0 heartbreaker at the hands of Casteel.

Millennium didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off three passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of Jakayla Rosetta and Abbigail Ruelas.

Mesa now has a losing record of 1-2. As for Millennium, their loss dropped their record down to 0-3.

Mesa came up short against Millennium in their previous matchup back in September of 2024, falling 10-6. Can the Jackrabbits avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
