Soccer Game Preview: Lynden Christian vs. Oak Harbor

The Lynden Christian Lyncs will face off against the Oak Harbor Wildcats at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.

Lynden Christian is headed into Thursday's following a draw, the team's first since March 20. Neither they nor Meridian could gain the upper hand on Tuesday so the two teams had to settle for a 2-2 draw. The outcome might've been different if Gunnar Parriera hadn't been hit with a yellow card, which no doubt limited his ability to make aggressive plays down the stretch.

Harvest Howell was the only thing that stood between Lynden Christian and a shutout considering he scored both of Lynden Christian's goals, bringing his season total up to 11 goals.

Meanwhile, Oak Harbor has been on a difficult stretch since their win on March 20. They lost 5-0 to Mount Vernon on Tuesday.

Oak Harbor's loss dropped their record down to 2-5-2. Lynden Christian's draw makes their record 3-5-2 this season.
