Basketball Recap: Thales Academy Apex Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Thales Academy Apex had lost five straight on the road dating back to last season, but on Friday they dropped down to 0-3 to make it six. They took a blow against the Grace Christian Crusaders, falling 90-17. The Titans lost against the Crusaders in their previous head to head back in January, too, but the margin this time around was even wider than the 89-51 score last time.

Despite the loss, Thales Academy Apex still got an impressive performance from Om Shah, who posted 13 points.

As for Grace Christian, their win bumped their record up to 3-1. The contest marked their most dominant victory of the season so far.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Grace Christian to victory, but perhaps none more so than Kaedyn Cole, who scored 15 points. Another player making a difference was Grant Jacques, who earned 12 points.

Looking ahead, Thales Academy Apex will take on St. David's at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Grace Christian, they will face off against Fayetteville Christian at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The Crusaders' defense better be ready for this one: the Warriors have averaged an impressive 69.2 points per game this season.
