Softball Recap: Faith Academy Takes a Loss

Faith Academy fought the good fight in their extra-innings game against Baldwin County on Friday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They lost 8-1 to the Tigers. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest defeat the Rams have suffered since February 21st.

Faith Academy's loss dropped their record down to 10-10. As for Baldwin County, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 16-10.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Faith Academy will welcome Bryant at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Baldwin County, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Gulf Shores at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Tigers' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Dolphins have averaged an impressive 6.5 runs per game this season.
