Softball Recap: Kirksville Tigers vs. North Callaway Thunderbirds
Kirksville blew North Callaway out of the water the last time the pair played, but on Saturday North Callaway got their revenge. The Kirksville Tigers fell just short of the North Callaway Thunderbirds by a score of 8-6. The Tigers were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Thunderbirds apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in September of 2023.
Kirksville has been struggling recently as they've lost ten of their last 12 matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 7-10 record this season. As for North Callaway, their win was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 11-6.
