Basketball Recap: Sidney Red Raiders vs. Sterling Tigers

After flying high against Platte Valley last Saturday, Sidney came back down to earth. The Sidney Red Raiders fell 61-54 to the Sterling Tigers on Tuesday. The Red Raiders have struggled against the Tigers recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive lost matchup.

Colin Linn continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines for Sterling, going 7 for 13 on his way to 21 points and six rebounds. Linn continues to improve, besting his previous point total in each of the last three games he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Dayten DiOrio, who went 5 of 9 on his way to 14 points and seven boards.

Sidney's loss dropped their record down to 9-2. As for Sterling, their win bumped their record up to 5-3.
