Basketball Game Preview: Freedom Christian Academy Patriots vs. Northwood Temple Academy Eagles

Freedom Christian Academy relied on the efforts of Bryce West, who dropped a double-double on 35 points and 11 boards, and Karsten Swinney, who posted 29 points in addition to five assists and four steals. The contest was Swinney's 11th in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Haidyn Bell, who dropped a double-double on 18 boards and ten assists.

They weren't the only one working in the assists department: Freedom Christian Academy was working as a unit and finished the game with 34 assists. That's the most assists they've managed all season.

Meanwhile, even if it wasn't a dominant performance, Northwood Temple Academy beat Trinity Christian 69-65 on Tuesday. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Eagles.

The match pitted two dominant guards against one another in Kenny Vera and Xayden Watson. Vera had a great game and went 7 of 14 on his way to 21 points along with five assists and five boards. Meanwhile, Watson did his best for the losing side, putting up ten points and seven boards.

Freedom Christian Academy has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight matches, which provided a massive bump to their 11-8 record this season. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 44.9 points. As for Northwood Temple Academy, their victory bumped their record up to 15-6.
