Volleyball Recap: International Comes Up Short

After flying high against Indiana School for the Deaf on Tuesday, International came back down to earth. The Gryphons fell just short of the Indianapolis Crispus Attucks Tigers by a score of 3-2 on Friday. The Gryphons were not able to make up for their loss to the Tigers from their previous meeting back in September of 2023.

International took a 2-1 lead headed into the fourth set, but sadly they lost the next two. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-16, 22-25, 22-25, 25-21, 15-13.

International's defeat dropped their record down to 8-10. As for Indianapolis Crispus Attucks, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 10-7 record this season.

International is taking a road trip to square off against Eminence at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Indianapolis Crispus Attucks, they will take on Christel House in a tournament on Monday.
