Midtown had already won seven in a row and they went ahead and made it eight on Thursday. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Decatur Bulldogs. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Knights also won the last time the pair played back in October of 2024.

The final score came out to 25-13, 25-15, 25-21.

Midtown's offense was headlined by Brennan Fritts and Estelle Leege, who picked up ten kills apiece. They got some help from Lucy Konisky and her 26 assists. She was also solid from the service line: she led the team with three aces.

Midtown's victory bumped their record up to 11-2. As for Decatur, their defeat ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 6-5.

Looking ahead, Midtown will challenge Paideia at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Decatur, they will square off against Chamblee at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
