Softball Recap: Ross Little Giants vs. Danbury Lakers
Ross was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat. They wound up on the wrong side of a tough 8-2 walloping at the hands of the Danbury Lakers.
Ross saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Rubi Almaguer, who scored a run and stole a base while going 1-for-4.
Ross' loss dropped their record down to 1-6. As for Danbury, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 6-2.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Ross will be staying on the road on Monday to face off against Perrysburg at 5:00 p.m. As for Danbury, they will take on St. Mary Central Catholic at 5:00 p.m. on Monday.
