Baseball Recap: 11 Straight Road Wins for Trinity Classical Academy

Trinity Classical Academy won against St. Genevieve last Tuesday with 16 runs and they decided to stick to that run total again on Thursday. The Trinity Classical Academy Knights put the hurt on the Flintridge Prep Wolves with a sharp 16-7 win. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Knights.

Aiden Visconti was a major factor no matter where he played. He looked comfortable on the mound, pitching two innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. Visconti was also stellar in the batter's box, going 4-for-5 with two runs, one triple, and two RBI.

In other batting news, Trinity Classical Academy got a massive performance out of Ezra Bly, who went 2-for-3 with four RBI, two runs, and two doubles. Those two runs gave Bly a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Jordan Lovelace, who scored two runs and stole three bases while getting on base in five of his six plate appearances.

Trinity Classical Academy always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .565. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Flintridge Prep only posted an OBP of .375.

Trinity Classical Academy's victory was their 11th straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 2-0. Those victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.0 runs over those games. As for Flintridge Prep, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-2.

Trinity Classical Academy wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next match, a 6-4 loss against Castaic on the 25th. As for Flintridge Prep, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 9-1 defeat against San Marino on the 21st.
