Softball Recap: Medford Takes a Loss

Medford was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their ninth straight loss. They came up short against the New Richland-Hartland-Ellendale-Geneva Panthers, falling 17-0. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Tigers of the 3-0 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in May of 2024.

Medford's loss dropped their record down to 1-15. As for New Richland-Hartland-Ellendale-Geneva, their victory ended a seven-game drought on the road and puts them at 3-12.

Medford has already played their next matchup, a 15-6 defeat against Waseca on the 13th. As for New Richland-Hartland-Ellendale-Geneva, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next game, a 14-2 win against Blue Earth on the 13th.
