Football Game Preview: Le Mars Bulldogs vs. Sergeant Bluff-Luton Warriors

Le Mars is 2-8 against Sergeant Bluff-Luton since September of 2016 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Friday. The Bulldogs will head out to take on the Warriors. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.

Le Mars took a loss when they played away from home two weeks ago, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Friday. They never let Storm Lake get on the board and left with a 35-0 victory. The win continues a trend for the Bulldogs in their matchups with the Tornadoes: they've now won five in a row.

Meanwhile, Sergeant Bluff-Luton took their contest on Friday with ease, bagging a 41-14 victory over Spencer. The Warriors pushed the score to 41-7 by the end of the third, a deficit the Tigers cut but never quite recovered from.

Sergeant Bluff-Luton's record is now 8-1. As for Le Mars, they now have a winning record of 5-4.

Le Mars was dealt a bruising 35-7 defeat at the hands of Sergeant Bluff-Luton in their previous meeting on October 10th. Can the Bulldogs avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
