The Merritt Island Christian Cougars fell victim to a tough 11-5 loss at the hands of the Geneva Knights. The defeat unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Merritt Island Christian in their matchups with Geneva: they've now lost three in a row.
Anthony Alessandrini made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and got on base in all four of his plate appearances with two runs and a triple. Jayvon Morris was another key contributor, scoring three runs and stealing two bases while getting on base in three of his four plate appearances.
