Volleyball Recap: Montville Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Montville was the 3-0 winner over Plainfield when they last played one another back in October of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Wolves took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Panthers on Friday.

While Montville had to settle for second, they sure made a game of it, scoring at least 18 points in every set they played. The final score came out to 25-19, 20-25, 25-21, 25-18.

Savannah Malinowsky paced Montville's offense, picking up 11 kills. Malinowsky got some help from Kayla Terni and her 30 assists. Zoe Molnar controlled things from the service line, finishing with four aces.

Montville now has a losing record of 2-3. As for Plainfield, they moved to 2-4 with that victory, which also ended their four-game losing streak.

Montville didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 3-0 defeat against Griswold on the 15th. Plainfield has also already played their next game (against Fitch), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
