Basketball Recap: Somonauk/Leland Now 6-1 over Last Seven Games

Somonauk/Leland won against Indian Creek last Friday with 51 points and they decided to stick to that point total again on Tuesday. The Somonauk/Leland Bobcats came out on top against the Indian Creek Timberwolves by a score of 51-39. That's the third time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 51-45 last Friday.

Indian Creek's loss came despite strong showings from Gretta Oziah and Abby Keilman. Oziah posted eight points and 13 rebounds, while Keilman put up six points. Oziah is trending in the right direction considering she's improved her point production for three straight games.

Somonauk/Leland has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven matches, which provided a nice bump to their 10-15 record this season. As for Indian Creek, they have also been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-9 record this season.

Somonauk/Leland wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 47-29 win against Earlville on the 30th. Indian Creek has also already played their next match, a 58-38 victory against Newark on the 30th.
