Baseball Recap: Berkeley Prep Comes Up Short

Berkeley Prep lost to Tampa Catholic back in February of 2025 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Buccaneers fell 11-7 to the Crusaders. The Buccaneers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Jett Walters was cooking despite his team's loss, going 2-for-4 with one home run. That home run was his first of the season. Another player making a difference was Josh Herrmann, who went 1-for-4 with one home run.

Berkeley Prep now has a losing record of 2-3. As for Tampa Catholic, the victory keeps them at an undefeated 5-0.

Berkeley Prep has already played their next contest, a 14-4 win against Trinity Catholic on the 21st. As for Tampa Catholic, they will face off against Indian Rocks Christian at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
