Basketball Recap: Simpson Comes Up Short at Home Against Oak Hill

Simpson unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-court advantage in their season opener. They were beaten by the Oak Hill Rams 42-0 on Thursday. The Broncos lost against the Rams in their previous head to head back in December of 2024, too, but the margin this time around was even wider than the 55-50 score last time.

Simpson and Oak Hill will both get a bit of extra prep time before their next games. The next time the Broncos see the court they'll take on Harrisonburg at 7:00 p.m. on November 4. As for Oak Hill, their break will end when they face Pitkin at 7:00 p.m. on November 4.
