Volleyball Recap: Lee Comes Up Short

Lee was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 21st straight loss dating back to last season. They lost 3-0 to the Port Neches-Groves Indians. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Ganders of the 3-0 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in October of 2024.

The final score came out to 25-11, 25-13, 25-12.

Lee's loss dropped their record down to 0-8. As for Port Neches-Groves, their win was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 20-12.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Lee is set to face off against their familiar foe Port Arthur Memorial at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Port Neches-Groves will square off against rival Nederland at 6:30 p.m. on Friday.
