Softball Recap: Houma Christian Comes Up Short

Houma Christian saw some tournament action on Saturday. They came up short against the Kinder Yellowjackets, falling 16-6.

Aubrey Thomas was cooking despite her team's loss, scoring two runs while going 1-for-2. She also put up a double, which was her first of the season. Another player making a difference was Ansley Molaison, who scored a run while going 2-for-3.

Houma Christian dropped their record down to 3-5 with the loss, which was their ninth straight on the road dating back to last season. As for Kinder, the win was the sixth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 7-1.

Houma Christian wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next match, a 15-0 victory against Highland Baptist Christian on the 11th. As for Kinder, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 12-2 win against St. Louis Catholic on the 11th.
