Despite a phenomenal run in the regular season, Exeter Township couldn't carry that success into this playoff game. They fell 3-1 to the Governor Mifflin Mustangs on Thursday. The Eagles' defeat signaled the end of their six-game winning streak.

Exeter Township started the match hot and won the first set, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last three. The final score came out to 23-25, 25-23, 25-19, 27-25.

Ashton Wilson paced Exeter Township's offense, picking up 11 kills. Wilson got some help from Tyler Campbell and his 31 assists. Finally, Wilson was also a dominant defender, finishing with a team-high three blocks.

Exeter Township's loss dropped their record down to 15-5. As for Governor Mifflin, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 13-1.

As of now, neither Exeter Township nor the Mustangs have any future games scheduled.
