Volleyball Recap: Southeast Takes a Loss

Southeast saw some tournament action on Saturday. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Adrian Blackhawks. The Knights have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

Adrian's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Lizzie Clifton, who had 19 aces and one assist. Those 19 aces gave Clifton a new career-high.

Southeast's loss dropped their record down to 1-5. As for Adrian, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 10-4.

Southeast wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 2-0 defeat against West Platte on the 27th. As for Adrian, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 2-0 win against Chrisman on the 27th.
