Soccer Game Preview: Byron vs. Johnsburg

The Byron Tigers will square off against the Johnsburg Skyhawks at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. Byron is coming into the match hot, having won their last seven games.

Fans were treated to a battle of the Tigers on Tuesday. Byron had just enough and edged out Princeton 3-2. That's two games straight that Byron has won by just one goal.

Meanwhile, Johnsburg kept a clean sheet against Richmond-Burton on Wednesday. They won by a goal and slipped past the Rockets 1-0. Give Johnsburg's defense some credit: that's the team's third straight shutout.

Their one-goal win came courtesy of Elizabeth Smith, who's now up to 25 this season.

Johnsburg's win bumped their record up to 12-0. As for Byron, their victory bumped their record up to 16-3-2.
