Volleyball Recap: New Lothrop Takes a Loss + How To Watch

New Lothrop was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They lost 3-0 to the Birch Run Panthers. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest defeat the Hornets have suffered since September 9th.

New Lothrop was held off the scoreboard, but that almost wasn't the case: they kept the second set very close. The match finished with set scores of 25-12, 25-23, 25-20.

New Lothrop's loss dropped their record down to 3-14-3. As for Birch Run, their win was their ninth straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 18-6-2.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming contests. New Lothrop will venture away from home to take on Ovid-Elsie at 6:45 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Birch Run, they will head out to square off against Notre Dame Prep at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday.
