The Winamac Warriors will take on the Tri-Township Tigers at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. Winamac is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 7.4 runs per game this season.

Winamac played against Oregon-Davis on Saturday and won via forfeit.

Tri-Township is headed into Monday's matchup looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their 15th straight game dating back to last season on Friday. They came up short against Morgan Township, falling 18-2.

Winamac's win bumped their record up to 18-6. As for Tri-Township, their loss dropped their record down to 0-13.

Tri-Township's hitters will have their work cut out for them on Monday. Winamac has been retiring batters left and right this season, having averaged 8.6 strikeouts per game. It's a different story for Tri-Township, though, as they've been averaging only 4.1 strikeouts. Will Winamac keep running through batters, or will the Tigers buck the trend?

Everything went Winamac's way against Tri-Township in their previous meeting back in March of 2022, as Winamac made off with a 14-1 victory. Will the Warriors repeat their success, or do the Tigers have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
