Division III recap Nov. 7, 2012
Woodstock extended the longest winning streak in Division III this week by beating Mt. Abraham/Vergennes, 58-7. The victory was the 10th in a row for the Wasps.
Woodstock took down the Eagles 58-7 last week, the largest margin of any game.
The marquee game in the league this week will be the clash between Bellows Free Academy and Jim Mclaughlin Jr.'s team. The Bullets enters the contest ranked 14th in the state, while the Wasps ranks sixth.
The top two defenses in the league will face off this season when Bellows Free Academy takes on Woodstock. Mike Williams' team has allowed 156 points this season, while the Wasps have given up 90.
Woodstock led the league in scoring this week after putting up 58 points on Mt. Abraham/Vergennes.
