The Cicero Prep Academy Centurions are taking a road trip to face off against the Valley Lutheran Flames at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Cicero Prep Academy is coming into the game hot, having won their last three games.
Cicero Prep Academy will bounce into Tuesday's match after beating Hayden, who they had gone 0-3 against in their three prior meetings. The stars were shining brightly for Cicero Prep Academy in a 38-19 win over Hayden back in December of 2024.

Cicero Prep Academy's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Catherine Johnson, who posted four points in addition to ten boards and five steals. That's the most steals Johnson has posted since back in January of 2024. The team also got some help courtesy of Chelsea Leggat, who put up 11 points and six rebounds.
Cicero Prep Academy smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 11 offensive boards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least 11 offensive rebounds in three consecutive contests.
Meanwhile, it was close, but on Saturday Valley Lutheran sidestepped Tempe for a 34-32 victory. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Flames.
Valley Lutheran's win came from a few key players Cicero Prep Academy will need to keep an eye on. One of the most notable was Viddiate Clinton, who had nine points along with eight steals and five boards. She has been hot recently, having posted six or more steals the last four times she's played. Elise Winter was another key player, putting up 11 points along with five rebounds and four steals.
Cicero Prep Academy is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five games, which provided a massive bump to their 7-6 record this season. The wins came thanks to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 26.4 points per game. As for Valley Lutheran, their win bumped their record up to 8-3.
Everything came up roses for Cicero Prep Academy against Valley Lutheran in their previous matchup back in December of 2024, as the team secured a 46-13 victory. In that match, Cicero Prep Academy amassed a halftime lead of 30-7, an impressive feat they'll look to repeat on Tuesday.
