Soccer Recap: Johnson County Takes a Loss

Johnson County was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their eighth straight defeat. They lost 10-0 to the Wheeler County Bulldogs. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Trojans of the 2-1 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in April of 2024.

Johnson County's defeat dropped their record down to 0-8. As for Wheeler County, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 3-4.

Johnson County has already played their next matchup, a 4-0 loss against Treutlen on the 18th. As for Wheeler County, they also didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next game, a 3-0 victory against Hawkinsville on the 18th.
