After only one run in their last contest, Eastern Tech made sure to put some runs up on the board against Kenwood on Monday. The Mavericks were the clear victors by an 11-1 margin over the Bluebirds. The result was nothing new for the Mavericks, who have now won three games by ten runs or more so far this season.

Eastern Tech has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 6-2 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 9.8 runs over those games. As for Kenwood, they now have a losing record of 4-5.

Coincidentally, Eastern Tech and Kenwood will both be playing Perry Hall Christian the next time they take the field. The Bluebirds will host Perry Hall Christian at 11:30 a.m. on Monday, while the Mavericks will play them later in the day, at 2:00 p.m.
