On Tuesday Hephzibah will have to hit the road after three straight games at home. They will square off against the Westside Patriots at 5:30 p.m. Given that both suffered a loss in their last game, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this match.

Hephzibah's hitters might be in the hot seat on Tuesday considering what happened against West Laurens on Thursday. They lost 22-0 to the Raiders.

Meanwhile, Westside was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their ninth straight loss. They took a 20-16 hit to the loss column at the hands of Academy of Richmond County. One positive for the Patriots, at least, is that this was the most points they've scored all season.

Ava Babcock was cooking despite her team's loss, going 3-for-5 with a home run, five RBI, and three runs. The team also got some help courtesy of Alyssa Grimes, who went 3-for-4 with two runs, a triple, and a stolen base.

Even though they lost, Westside was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .485. That's the best batting average they've posted all season.

Hephzibah has been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-5 record this season. As for Westside, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-8.

Hephzibah took their victory against Westside in their previous matchup back in August by a conclusive 16-1. The rematch might be a little tougher for Hephzibah since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
