Saint James can bid farewell to their seven-match losing streak thanks to their match on Wednesday. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over Foxcroft. The Saints not only won on Wednesday, but they posted their biggest win since October 10, 2024 (when they won 3-0).

Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: Saint James took every set by at least 11 points. The match finished with set scores of 25-13, 25-14, 25-14.

Despite the loss, Foxcroft saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Sophie Arellano had ten digs.

Saint James' victory bumped their record up to 2-7. As for Foxcroft, their defeat was their sixth straight at home dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 2-5.

Coming up, after both having extra time off, Saint James and Grace Academy will shake off the rust and duke it out at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Foxcroft, they will head out on the road to face off against Tandem Friends at 4:00 p.m. on Friday.
