Football Recap: Master's Academy Comes Up Short on the Road Against Santa Fe Catholic + How To Watch

Master's Academy kicked off their season on the road on Friday and hit a couple of potholes. They came up short against the Santa Fe Catholic Hawks, falling 37-13. The game was a close 14-13 at the break, but unfortunately for the Patriots it sure didn't stay that way.

Although Master's Academy took the loss, they still got scores from Jamison Blunt and Isiah Williams.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Santa Fe Catholic to victory, but perhaps none more so than Zyrell Thomas, who rushed for 95 yards and a pair of TDs, and also picked up 87 receiving yards and one score. Thomas showed off some serious burst, turning on the afterburners on one carry for 56 yards. Reagan Korlacki was another key rusher, rushing for 170 yards on only 14 carries.

Looking ahead, Master's Academy will challenge Seffner Christian at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Santa Fe Catholic, they will square off against Out-of-Door Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
