Recap: Weimar Wildcats vs. Bloomington Bobcats/Lady Cats
The Weimar Wildcats were the 49-45 winner over the Bloomington Bobcats/Lady Cats when they last played one another back in December of 2023, but their luck changed this time around. Weimar lost to Bloomington at home by a decisive 52-35 margin on Wednesday.
Khyli Proctor was her usual excellent self, dropping a double-double on 22 points and 13 rebounds for Bloomington. Proctor hasn't dropped below two steals for ten straight games. Another player making a difference was Kenzi Proctor, who scored 11 points along with five blocks and three steals.
Weimar now has a losing record at 11-12. As for Bloomington, the win was the 11th in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 21-7.
Coincidentally, the two teams will both be playing Shiner the next time they take the court. Weimar will head out to face Shiner at 5:30 p.m. on Friday, while Bloomington will host them at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
