Softball Game Preview: Lennox Academy Panthers vs. Animo Leadership Aztec Eagles

The Lennox Academy Panthers will square off against the Animo Leadership Aztec Eagles at 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday. One thing working in Lennox Academy's favor is that they have posted at least ten runs in their last five games.

Lennox Academy is probably headed into the match with a chip on their shoulder considering Brentwood School just ended the team's four-game winning streak on Friday. They took a 15-10 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Eagles.

Emily Estrada and Michel Estrada stepped up to the plate in a big way. Emily got on base in three of her five plate appearances with two RBI and one run, while Michel went 1-for-4 with one stolen base, one run, and one RBI.

Compton Early College hit Animo Leadership with a six-run first inning on Thursday, which goes a long way in explaining the final result. The Aztec Eagles fell 13-9 to the Rising Phoenix. The Aztec Eagles have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Lennox Academy's loss dropped their record down to 13-7. As for Animo Leadership, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-5.
