            Baseball Recap: Carson Colts vs. Rancho Dominguez Lobos        
        
		
        
        
            Carson waltzed into their matchup  on Friday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They blew past the Rancho Dominguez Lobos 11-1. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won  13-1  last Wednesday.
 Salvador Carillo looked comfortable as he  pitched three innings while giving up just one earned run off   one  hit. He has been consistent  recently: he hasn't  given up  more than one  walk in three consecutive appearances.

 On the hitting side,  the team  relied heavily on  Juno Carillo, who  went 1-for-2 with three  RBI, two  runs,  and one  triple. Those  three  RBI gave  him a new career-high. Another player making a difference was  Kris Sinclair, who  scored two  runs while  getting on base  in two of his three plate appearances.
 Carson  always had someone on base and  finished the game having  posted an OBP of .567. That's the best  OBP they've posted all season.
Carson's record now sits at 4-9. As for Rancho Dominguez,  this is the second loss in a row for them and  nudges their season record down to 5-3.
 We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Carson is set to  challenge  their familiar foe Gardena  at 3:00  p.m.  on Wednesday. Meanwhile, Rancho Dominguez will  face off against  rival Narbonne  at 3:00  p.m.  on Wednesday.
