Softball Recap: Stow-Munroe Falls Takes a Loss

Stow-Munroe Falls's last matchup with Twinsburg could've gone either way, but unfortunately the same can't be said for the pair's matchup on Wednesday. The Bulldogs came up short against the Tigers, falling 11-2. The Bulldogs just can't catch a break and have now endured three defeats in a row.

Stow-Munroe Falls saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Lexi Watson, who went 1-for-4 with one run and one RBI.

Stow-Munroe Falls' loss dropped their record down to 3-9. As for Twinsburg, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven contests. That's provided a massive bump to their 11-6 record this season.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Stow-Munroe Falls will challenge Medina at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Battling Bees have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 7.06 runs per game on average), something the Bulldogs will no doubt try to take advantage of. As for Twinsburg, they will take on North Royalton at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Bears will roll in looking for their fifth straight victory, something the Tigers surely won't give up without a fight.
