Westview lost to DeKalb back in September of 2024, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Tuesday. The Warriors came out on top against the Barons by a score of 3-1. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Warriors.

While Westview might've won, it sure wasn't easy: DeKalb scored at least 21 points in every set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-21, 24-26, 25-23, 25-21.

Yoder Kloie paced Westview's offense, picking up 14 kills. Kloie got some help from Alayah Hostetler and her 13 assists. Kloie was also solid from the service line: she led the team with six aces.

Westview's victory bumped their record up to 8-10. As for DeKalb, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 5-12.

Westview didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 3-0 win against Churubusco on the 18th. As for DeKalb, they have also already played their next contest, a 3-0 defeat against East Noble on the 18th.
