Softball Recap: Sehome Comes Up Short

Sehome lost against Burlington-Edison back in May of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Mariners fell 8-5 to the Tigers. The Mariners have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Sehome saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Sarah Kruzich, who went 2-for-4 with three RBI, one triple, and one stolen base. Kruzich also put up a double, which was her first of the season.

Sehome's loss dropped their record down to 3-5. As for Burlington-Edison, their win ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 3-6-1.

While Sehome had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair will be back at it again later today.
