Recap: Bristol Panthers vs. Harding Skippers

The Bristol Panthers won the last time they faced the Harding Skippers, and things went their way on Thursday too. Bristol simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Harding 62-18 on the road. Winning is a bit easier when you outrebound your opponent 23 to 3 on the offensive boards, as Bristol did.

Bristol was led to victory by Briauna Klingensmith and Payton Brook. Klingensmith scored 23 points, while Brook scored 23 points along with nine rebounds and eight steals. That makes it four consecutive games in which Klingensmith has scored at least 25% of Bristol's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Peyton Gall, who scored two points along with 13 rebounds and three steals.

Harding's defeat shouldn't obscure the performances of Madisen Mcfadden, who scored eight points along with nine rebounds and three blocks, and Jana Vale who scored five points. That's the first time this season that Mcfadden posted two or more blocks.

Bristol's victory bumped their record up to 5-6. As for Harding, they bumped their record down to 2-7 with that defeat, which was their sixth straight at home dating back to last season.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Bristol will take on Mathews at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Harding, they will be playing at home against Windham at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.
