Baseball Game Preview: Forest Hills Central Rangers vs. Forest Hills Northern Huskies

For the second straight game, Forest Hills Central will face off against Forest Hills Northern. The Rangers will welcome the Huskies at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday.

Monday just wasn't the day for Forest Hills Central's offense. They lost 10-0 to Forest Hills Northern on Monday.

For Forest Hills Northern's part, Cas Anderson tossed a big game, not allowing a single earned run and allowing only one hit over five innings pitched. Anderson has been consistent: he hasn't given up a single earned run in seven consecutive appearances.

On the hitting side, Justin St. Antoine was incredible, going a perfect 3-for-3 with three runs, three RBI, and two doubles. That's the most hits he has posted over his last ten contests. The team also got some help courtesy of Mateo Rodriguez, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with three runs and one stolen base.

Forest Hills Northern moved to 13-14 with that victory, which also ended their three-game losing streak. As for Forest Hills Central, their defeat dropped their record down to 12-12.
