Volleyball Recap: Sault Area Takes a Loss

Sault Area was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They fell 2-0 to the Cheboygan Chiefs. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Blue Devils of the 2-0 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in October of 2024.

Sault Area's defeat dropped their record down to 10-16-2. As for Cheboygan, they are on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last ten matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 26-6-3 record this season.

Sault Area will take on Ogemaw Heights at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Cheboygan, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 2-1 win against Inland Lakes on the 30th.
