Sparta triumphant thanks to a strong effort from Jacob Lafferty

Recap: Sparta Trojans vs. Strafford Indians
The Sparta Trojans had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 32.5 points), and they went ahead and made it three on Saturday. They managed a 67-61 win over Strafford. Having run the score up that high, both teams probably have some extra defensive drills coming up.
Jacob Lafferty had an outrageously good game as he dropped a double-double on 26 points and 11 rebounds. That makes it two consecutive games in which he has scored at least 25% of Sparta's points. Another player making a difference was Trenton Ingle, who scored 12 points.
Sparta's victory bumped their record up to 3-0. As for Strafford, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-1.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Sparta will take on Purdy at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Strafford, they will stay at home for another game and welcome El Dorado Springs at 7:30 p.m. on December 5th.
