Belleville scored the most points they've had this season on Friday, but it wasn't enough. They took a 47-35 hit to the loss column at the hands of Southwestern. Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their prior game last Friday (33), Belleville still had to take the loss.

Treyton Myers and Cooper Nemec certainly did their best on Friday to avoid the loss. Myers gained 217 total yards, while Nemec picked up 95 receiving yards and three touchdowns.

Belleville's defeat dropped their record down to 2-4. As for Southwestern, the win snapped their losing streak at three games and leaves them with a 2-4 record.
