Myers Park piles up the points against Hough

Recap: Myers Park Mustangs vs. Hough Huskies

The Myers Park Mustangs waltzed into their game Wednesday with six straight wins but they left with seven. They took their matchup at home with ease, bagging a 70-35 win over Hough. The result was nothing new for Myers Park, who have now won six games by 21 points or more so far this season.

Sir Mohammed continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, scoring 21 points along with eight rebounds and three steals. The match was his tenth in a row with at least ten points. Bishop Boswell was another key contributor, scoring 13 points along with seven assists.

Despite the loss, Hough still got an impressive performance from Blake Desautels, who scored ten points along with five rebounds. Another player making a difference was Evan Otto, who scored seven points.

Hough struggled to get the ball back on offense and finished the game with only three offensive rebounds. That's the fewest offensive rebounds they've managed all season.

Myers Park pushed their record up to 10-2 with that win, which was their third straight at home. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 67.3 points per game. As for Hough, they have not been sharp recently, as they've lost five of their last six contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 2-9 record this season.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Myers Park will take on Ardrey Kell at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Ardrey Kell has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 934 points over their last 14 games. As for Hough, they will be playing at home against West Charlotte at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. West Charlotte has insisted on making their lastthree contests complete nail-biters, turning in a record of 2-1 during that stretch of close contests.
