With a playoff win on the line, Chaminade-Madonna rose to the challenge on Monday. They put the hurt on the Avant Garde Academy Sharks with a sharp 3-0 victory. Winning may never get old, but the Lions sure are getting used to it with their third in a row.

Arthur Mainella Maux paced Chaminade-Madonna's offense, picking up 11 kills. Mainella Maux got some help from Jesse Sanchez and his 22 assists. Mainella Maux also made an impact serving: he shared the team lead in aces with Anthony Kerns, racking up three apiece.

Chaminade-Madonna now has a winning record of 7-6. As for Avant Garde Academy, they are on a 15-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-14.

Chaminade-Madonna has already played their next matchup, a 3-0 win against David Posnack Jewish Day on the 29th. Avant Garde Academy does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
